boots

Postby Mooch on Wed Mar 19, 2008 7:56 pm

so i was curious on what kind of boots everyone has been wearing. i got some tactical style but they turned into work boots for now. crash had some cool looking converse ones but not sure if he changed. just looking for ideas and for the budget minded, meaning i don't have a lot to spend on them.

Check lapolicegear.com they have good deals. In there closeout section they bates boots on clearance for 40.00 bucks and they have gore-tex you cant beat that deal if your on a budget, I'm thinking about buying a pair because their so cheap. If you do order some let me know I may buy a pair and we can spit shipping.

I use a pair of Corcoran Desert Issue boots. They've got synthetic shanks and a synthetic toe cap so they don't make metal detectors go off (buhaha), plus it makes them more flexible than boots with steel shanks. They're quite comfy and I can march all day on them. The toe cap is actually pretty strong. I wear these boots to work also and one day my co-worker accidently drop a loaded pallet of Coors Lite on top of my boot, it didn't crush the toe at all thankfully. We figured the pallet weighed at least 1200 lbs. all told.
